# Yusuf and Zulaikha: A Love Interrupted This tells the story of Yusuf and Zulaikha who fall in love but are separated along the way. Their first meeting occurs due to a misunderstanding at a commuter station between Yusuf (Shukri Yahaya) and Zulaikha (Nabila Razali), which unexpectedly and unintentionally sparks the seeds of love. Initially, Zulaikha dislikes Yusuf and often plays hard to get when he tries to approach her. Zulaikha is also worried because her mother, Hajar (Liza Abdullah), had warned her not to fall in love with a man in Kuala Lumpur. Hajar is disappointed because her most beloved son, Aakif, never returned to the village after marrying a city girl. Yusuf proposes to Zulaikha but she needs time to convince Hajar. On the same day Zulaikha returns to the village to tell Hajar about Yusuf's proposal, they are shocked by news of an accident that has claimed the lives of Aakif and his wife Maryam. Aakif's death deeply affects Zulaikha.

However, what occurs when those whom we initially put our trust in suddenly become a burden instead of a boon? Do we falter under the weight of rejection? Or STAND UP for WHO WE ARE?
