With the start of the new season we're excited for all of the April new movie releases, some of which our writers here will cover in individual reviews throughout the month.
Patah Sayap Bertongkat Paruh
# Translation Aliah is determined to return to her village with her three children to build a new life after being divorced by her husband, Hisyam. In the village, her marital troubles are exposed when Pak Osman, Aliah's forgetful father, inadvertently tells Talhah, Aliah's childhood friend from the village, about her situation. News of Aliah being neglected by her husband stirs Talhah's sympathy. Talhah's sincere help is warmly received by Aliah. In secret, the love that once blossomed in Talhah's heart blooms again. However, a warning from Hisyam makes Talhah realize Aliah's marital status. Out of jealousy over the relationship between Aliah and Talhah, Hisyam lies in court, claiming he never pronounced the conditional divorce against Aliah, leaving Aliah's status in limbo. Aliah endures many hardships throughout the process of resolving her marital troubles. Can Aliah, a woman considered weak, rise up and change her fate? Or will she continue to fall to her destiny?
