Where Pat Metheny’s lyrical guitar lines moves between gentle beauty and explosive improvisation, while Lyle Mays adds harmonies, shimmering keyboards and dramatic shifts in mood. And Steve Rodby’s bass and Paul Wertico’s drumming gives the music both weight and flexibility. As they are supported by intricate percussion and atmospheric textures.
