Jade Baker's landlord has decided to renovate the building she lives in. The problem is that the renovations are so dire that she needs to find a place to stay in the meanwhile. She looks in the mirror and waits eagerly for her secret friend, Carter Cruise, to arrive. You see, Riley has a secret she can't tell anyone, she's met someone. Someone new and exciting. Ivy Wolfe learns that her girlfriend, Aali Kali isn't coming home before another whole week. She's heartbroken since they've already been apart a month. Aali promises that they can catch up via video call, putting her lonely girlfriend in a better mood. It isn't long before Ivy's filled with joy as Aali arrives home early to surprise her, both of them falling into each other's arms.
The re-living of this historic trial through this film is relevant to current politics and disturbingly enjoyable to watch due to the excellent performances from the ensemble cast. If you like a juicy courtroom drama, this film will definitely scratch that itch in a really chilling manner.
