The single men start enticing the couples to cheat on each other, so they don't have to pay this months rent. Gabriel Divo, Zachery Rhys, Atlas Grant, Alex Hawk dont have money for this month's rent and will do anything to get out of paying for it, even if it means being home wreckers.
If you are a discerning movie watcher and/or an African-American with a modicum of Black consciousness, this film isn’t for you. It would be better to watch the documentary ‘They Fight’ to see the impactful, emotional story of Walter Manigan and the young men of DC’s Ward 8.
Tara Thorne’s film is equal parts emotional and comedic, illustrating the beauty and the pain of long term relationships.

What can I say about this Will Ferrell/Julia Louis-Dreyfus-led “dramedy?” Well, the comedy part of Downhill is completely non-existent. And I should have known that the film was a flop when I walked into an empty theater at a prime time on a Friday night.
