Kıpır lives in a happy toy store. When another toy, Zıpzıp Tavşan Alyanak, loses his way, Kıpır sets out to take his friend home. As Kıpır makes plans to reunite Alyanak with its owner, things go awry, and his friends scatter across Istanbul. Kıpır and Alyanak embark on an adventure outside the toy store, where they will come to know themselves better and understand the value of friendship.

I hate the idea that animation’s for kids; just because it’s animated doesn’t mean that it’s some silly cartoon and shouldn’t be taken seriously.
The “gay best friend”, an age-old trope, has been done in countless films and television series. Ranging from one-note (Sex and the City's Stanford and Mario) to nuanced (Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt's Tituss), the gay best friend exists to support and advise the main protagonist, with their conflicts swept to the side.
This story solidified my choices to consume a more plant-based diet and nearly made me cancel my subscriptions to big corporations like Amazon. The narrative was perfectly crafted and on par with Bong Joon-Ho’s other major works; Parasite and Snowpiercer.
When you first hear that there is a series on Netflix where the lead character’s wife dies from cancer and he becomes dangerously suicidal, you wouldn’t immediately assume that it’s a comedy.
