Netflix’s ‘The Old Guard’ is an Entertaining Flick
"The Old Guard" doesn't break ground, but it sure does bust boredom and fictional heads as an entertaining action romp on Netflix.

On the opening night of a grand London opera, a mysterious hitman Vincent Leroux, is hired by the show's corrupt director and given his highest profile hit yet: eliminate Madelyn Blake, the show's famed prima donna. To complicate matters, the hit is meant to look like an accident on stage as part of The Director's scheme to sabotage the performance and take the show's funding for himself. What begins as a simple contract spirals into a deadly performance of deceit, desire, and betrayal, as one thing becomes clear: only one of them will take a final bow.
