An enchanted school for young heroes and villains brings the battle between good and evil in this fantasy movie.

Nancy and Cathy, although unaware of each other’s pasts, are very close friends working as seductive sex workers. Every day they become so absorbed in playing games at the game center that they end up being late for work. Their workplace is a mobile adult entertainment establishment—a dilapidated bus that has been remodeled to cruise through the neon-lit streets of Shinjuku at night. Inside, as the two alluring women cling onto suspension straps and completely surrender their bodies, the men, transformed into vicious lecherous molesters, give in to their intense lustful impulses and ravenously indulge in a serious sexual crazed experience. Then one day, Cathy is killed by one of the vicious customers...

'Midnight at the Paradise' premieres tomorrow at Toronto's Paradise Theatre! I had the pleasure to sit down with Vanessa Matsui to discuss the making of this film.
At first glance, one wouldn't think John Carpenter's cult classic would be a thematic double-billing - or that Free Guy would be worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as They Live - but the two films of vastly different genres have more similarities upon further examination.
Seriously, and this is coming from someone who was extremely skeptical before giving it a watch. I assumed the show would be painfully boring, but one of the show's strongest qualities is you needn't know anything about the lore to get invested in it.
'Barbarian' is horror infused with something ridiculous that makes the whole thing entertaining.
