"Queen & Slim" Needs a Trim
Queen & Slim is a nice example of representation in both cast and crew

Miniforce is a secrete commando force protecting little animals from Nein and Pascal. One day, Pascal calls up Alien Jody to disrupt the animals using his brainwashing power. The Miniforce appears, but they don’t seem to stand a chance against the powerful strength of Jody, who can simply copy the opponent’s power and weapons. Even worse, a Flower Mechamon appears and spreads pollen that makes everyone cry.

The Resort has an excellent climax surrounded by disappointments. Somehow, at a mere 75 minutes, this movie still manages to be 70 minutes too long.

I highly recommend Dark Waters. It’s a highly engrossing picture, which lends itself to cautionary storytelling. The dark information continually grows, inspiring change and accountability altogether. Overall, Haynes’ picture will not be known for its inclusiveness--but it will be known for being a fantastic, engrossing film.
