"Backrooms" Succeeds

The last party with her most faithful people: the right hand of her political party, the businessman with whom she built her little empire, a not very bright secretary, a Spanish traditional singer –the life of the party– and her great love, Amparo.

A direct fall into the white savior narrative
Animation as a medium of storytelling can be thought to be open to all ages and as I hope my reading will reveal, 'Nimona' could be interpreted as a transgender story.
The Lego Movie achieves great humor and story with a combination of childish comedy, adult references, irony, and by subverting popular movie tropes.
The film didn’t have to be as long as it is. It just dragged on and on with scenes that had no substance. Every so often we get an action scene, and even those isn’t that fun.
