Avatar: Still a Groundbreaker in CGI, but Not in Story
I suppose you could argue that the story wasn’t what Director James Cameron was aiming for, it was the visuals. The spectacle of it all was the point, and it certainly shows.

Especially when Grisha has a “sweet” and overly affectionate girlfriend… who falls in love with the actor playing the film’s lead role. And to make matters worse, someone steals a suitcase full of sponsor money — right on the film set.
