Avatar: Still a Groundbreaker in CGI, but Not in Story
I suppose you could argue that the story wasn’t what Director James Cameron was aiming for, it was the visuals. The spectacle of it all was the point, and it certainly shows.

Police pastor Lena Fauch cares for the victims after a supermarket robbery. A police officer was shot dead. His colleague Susi Massmann did not put the perpetrator out of action. Why? Police colleagues accuse the distraught policewoman Susi Massmann of having a shooting inhibition. Is she not tough enough for the police service and has therefore failed? While the young woman is being bullied, Lena gets caught between all fronts at the police station.
