A seemingly perfect first date takes a chilling turn when a mysterious predator shatters the romantic evening, leaving behind a brutal crime scene and a haunting secret that unravels the lives of two unsuspecting lovers.
This film was filled with great plot points. Unfortunately, they all contradicted each other and clashed. Had the premise of Awake been more consistent and accurately portrayed the real world aspect, I think this could have been an extreme success.
The plot lags, the moral lessons are misguided, but are those fluffy little donut creatures adorable? Yes. Yes, they are.
