Jalil, the son of the former village chief, and Megat are candidates for the new village chief position. Che Normah, the beauty queen of Cahaya village who has red color blindness, and Senah, who suffers from photophobia, both fall in love with Megat. Thus begins a series of Jalil's schemes to sabotage Megat out of jealousy, as he also has feelings for Normah!
