Incluvie Film Fest 3rd Place Winner: ‘Warmth’ Review
This film is a splendid mix of mediums, but its strength lies in its simplicity and beautiful message of closeness.

The film presents the interesting childhood of Lojze Slak and his beginnings in "Barbov Slak", school years, wartime, the testimony of his large family (10 sisters and brothers), colleagues, members of the ensemble, songwriters, editors, producers, etc. The film also contains interesting footage from tours (USA, Canada, Australia), concerts and TV shows throughout the entire period of the Lojze Slak Ensemble.

I suppose you could argue that the story wasn’t what Director James Cameron was aiming for, it was the visuals. The spectacle of it all was the point, and it certainly shows.
The new biopic 'Elvis' highlights the beginning and end of the career of this rock and roll legend. The audience is taken on this journey knowing the tragic ending but not so much about what led him there. A large topic of discussion is the influences on Elvis that made him who he was as a singer, musician, and performer, which were blues, gospel, and country. Many of the songs that rose him to fame were songs by Black artists he heard growing up in primarily Black settings.
This fantasy movie released on Disney+ has strong topics and themes related to magic.
‘Better Than Chocolate’ isn’t perfect, but it sure has charm! The characters are great. Some took longer to grow on me than others, but ultimately they’re all compelling! I appreciate how a select few help those around them to grow.
‘Sexy Beasts’ promotes itself as different from other dating shows as being not appearance-based. This is true to some extent thanks to the special effects makeup. However, looks do still play a role despite the masks.
