The story is about a beautiful woman named Laila and a rich Betawi descendant named Rojali. Because he fell in love at first sight, Rojali was willing to give everything so that Laila would marry him. When the marriage took place, it turned out that Laila had conspired with her friends to run away with Rojali's family wealth.
As noted in the headline, I didn’t like this movie. Not to say it’s the worst thing ever, but it’s just…meh. Nothing much to it. Very generic. No surprises. At the very least, the cast is diverse so I’ll give it that.
