To surprise her daughter on her birthday, a mother saves up and buys a second-hand cellphone. But before she can get home, accident befalls her and she ends up dead. The phone was stolen by a janitor who was trying to make ends meet. His excitement over the phone is cut short when strange things started happening. He along with his friend team up to uncover the truth behind the unusual phone and the mysterious voice that keeps on calling.
'Free Guy' combines classic Disney (a white heteronormative love story), exploration of popular video games and the culture around them, and Ryan Reynolds adult humor in the best way to make a super fun family flick.
It is as bad as your remember, and you are fortunate if you've never watched it. Keep it that way!
Overall this movie was an easy watch, but by no means a worthwhile watch.

These are real portraits painted by a director with lived experience, cultural connection and an amazing eye for visuals.
