For the sake of being able to watch the last episode of his favorite anime that appeared exactly before his sudden death, a shy anime-obsessed ghost is forced to accept a task from the afterlife to haunt 100 thousand humans. The problem? He's more terrified of people than they are of him. So, to achieve his goal, he reluctantly becomes the "star talent" for a crew of broke, fraudulent horror creators, which in the end forces him to choose between his personal ambition or saving the only 'family' he has ever found.
