‘A Good Person’ makes it clear that forgiveness is hard.

Manuel and Lucio are friends with a conflicting bond. Lucio challenges Manuel to show his worth by throwing balls of wet toilet paper at the cars that pass from the terrace. A vehicle brakes violently and a couple looking for the offender get out. Courage will take on a new meaning.

"King Richard" paints a nuanced portrait of a Black father trying to ensure his daughters’ success in a racist, misogynistic world. Yet, Richard and his kids overcome that fear and adversity to succeed.
Desi’s “straight man” to Lucy’s playful exuberance subverted people’s expectations of what a Latino man could be and added respect and nuance to the way onscreen marriages between men and women were portrayed.
If I had truly wished to witness "Guardians of the Galaxy", I would have stayed home to do so. Instead, I went to the IMAX and took in this newest incarnation of one of the most recognized and adapted superheroes in the DC Universe. **Sigh** Let me be clear here. I am NOT saying this is an AWFUL film.
