They dialogue through the silent body of a woman who grieves a biblical and contemporary loss. On the ground and on the wall, a luminous print of a virtual space: a window crossed by a beam of sunlight. Considered a physical phenomenon as much as a metaphysical concern, this rectangle of light contradicts the properties of a functional lighting, causing a limited and partial coincidence between light and sculpture.

Director and writer, Miles Marti, brilliantly created a film that captures the story of a kid that learns a new reality all within the walls of her classroom. Tears Of Knowing lightly steps into the devastation of loss through a childhood lens, and presents a perspective that is not often acknowledged. Though grief and loss are important aspects, the film also showcases excellent portrayals of trust, innocence, and naivety.
