Alicia is going to visit her traditional family for Christmas, and plans on introducing them to her English girlfriend at the same time. On their way to the village, Alicia confesses that she hasn't told her parents about her homosexuality and that her parents think she has a boyfriend. Her girlfriend gets very annoyed and wants to go back home, but then they meet Dirk, a young German guy who has arrived to Spain by hitchhiking. This twist of fate will make them change their minds at the last minute.

Seeing that the film was essentially his first big, mainstream feature, and with garnering a leading role — portraying the revolutionary ball-player Jackie Robinson — Boseman, without question, delivered a performance that is still so incredibly moving, respectful, genuine, and true to the core of his obviously sincere, artistic heart; and with that, it is indeed so saddening to see him pass.
