A film conceived and animated by Fernando Diniz, a renowned Brazilian artist who lived most of his life inside a mental institution. Marcos Magalhaes has worked closely together with Diniz for about 6 years in order to complete this short.

When you think of the horror genre, the LGBTQ+ community is probably one of the last things you think of. However, horror is much more queer-coded than you may think.
Overall, 18 Presents feels more like a soap opera than a drama, and I feel bad for saying that since the concept is based off a tragic story (even though it’s loosely). I’m sure other people will find this film emotional for them, but as for me, it’s bland and forgettable.
