Surface Level "People We Meet on Vacation" is Still a Fun Time
Unfortunately, People We Meet on Vacation didn’t hold up quite as well as I’d hoped.

On the eve of her sister’s wedding, Karina brings her “best friend” home to meet the family. When the groom-to-be joins them, she is reminded of her family’s expectations and her queer anxieties begin to unravel in a film that blurs the line between fiction and reality.
Unfortunately, People We Meet on Vacation didn’t hold up quite as well as I’d hoped.
The relationship between the characters is what makes this film stand out, and it’s just all-around fun.
Even after a history changing event, the 93rd Oscars proved it always had the space for more inclusivity in its award ceremony. But it this enough to change the boycott?
