Riley's life is a nightmare. Her mom committed suicide because of her. She gets herself kicked out of one foster home after another. No one seems to understand her, or even care. And now her dad is giving her up for adoption!
This film was filled with great plot points. Unfortunately, they all contradicted each other and clashed. Had the premise of Awake been more consistent and accurately portrayed the real world aspect, I think this could have been an extreme success.

The fashion is stunning, the dogs are adorable, and the story is wildly vibrant and original. It's classic movie fun, and it shouldn't be overlooked.
