In the midst of a personal and professional crisis, I begin to film everything obsessively: my parents, grandparents, children, friends, lovers, myself and psychotherapy. Some of the footage is consensual, some is "stolen" and some is footage taken over a lifetime, seemingly with no other purpose than to look at me: who am I? By putting all this material together, the personal-intimate becomes narrative: my recent break-up, my parents' break-up, my inadequacy as a mother. The result is a kind of intimate diary that, in becoming public, is perhaps obscene. But where are the boundaries between what should remain private and what can be shared? Even more so today?
In all actuality, “Just Mercy” should be labeled a “wall punching narrative.” Constantly, the flick throws high forms of adversity our way, amping up our most inner levels of discomfort. Filmmaker Destin Daniel Cretton wonderfully paces the film in such a way that replicates the slow-burn nature of justice.

Earth and Blood is slow, but it still has it’s entertaining moments. If you’re into thrillers, or want to watch something new, then this film might be for you. As for me, Earth and Blood was tolerable enough.
When I first saw the pilot for The Owl House, I knew instantly that it was special. It had an immense charm to not only its characters, but its story as well! It quickly became my sister and I’s go to Disney show to watch as a family, and we couldn’t wait to see what would happen next.
