A film miniature set to classical music. The Spanish landscape, allusively evoked on screen, is dominated by characteristic elements of Gaudí's architecture. From these elements emerges the arena, with the figure of a fighting bullfighter. The appearance of Carmen introduces a lyrical thread. A passionate love develops between her and the bullfighter. I believe in homages, but there's a proper way to borrow a creative idea instead of making it appear as if you hit the copy and paste button. Most likely, anyone is better off simply reading the books. Or just put on Scream.
Ultimately the problem with The Bubble is that it plays everything for laughs to get around the audience’s defenses. But it comes off like a privileged white male thinking that ridiculing everyone else equally is the road to equality. And it’s not. And it's definitely not funny to pretend that it is.

Now we see our contemporary realities and, just being honest, it makes a sentiment like this seem SO overtly far away….perhaps even impossible….to accept or believe could be. It sounds harsh, but again, so much of what is occurring speaks not to beauty, but bedlam.
