Demons and Hair Cuts: A Movie Review of “Sweeney Todd”
As a musical fan, I enjoyed the film and encourage anyone who likes dark humour and a bit of blood to give it a watch.

This documentary film on Iceland's whaling industry exposes the nation's defiant and illegal participation in commercial whale harvesting against a backdrop of worldwide protests and political intrigue. Iceland is the only country to hunt the endangered Finback whale. Ignoring international law, the politicians, scientists, and businessmen influencing the decision to continue the hunt believe that these migratory mammals are their resources to exploit. Their intent: disregard international law, set their own killing quotas each hunting season, and continue their slaughter in order to gain minuscule profits. This documentary reveals the contradictions and unethical decisions that allow Iceland to continue hunting the world's largest mammals.

Animation as a medium of storytelling can be thought to be open to all ages and as I hope my readings will reveal, they could be interpreted as transgender stories.
Unlike other documentaries about Princess Diana, Perkins’ film, 'The Princess', is an entire documentary consisting of media coverage and public opinion, rather than a typical series of people interviewed with firsthand experience of the Princess. 'The Princess' beautifully depicts how we perceive Diana as a media figure rather than a real person, specifically creating her persona as a fairytale figure turned saint and icon.
This film manages to be simultaneously topical and timeless. Without being preachy, it highlights society’s flawed relationship with tech; insights into the complex ideas of family struggle are expertly dispersed among a perfectly paced and balanced story.
In this remake of the 1993 film of the same name, The Wedding Banquet follows the life of two queer couples as they struggle with life-changing decisions.
