'Zom 100' Critiques Predatory Capitalism
Zombie apocalypses have been metaphors for late-stage predatory capitalism, but never a system disrupter that brings about freedom.

The Bridges Chamber Orchestra (“composing orchestra”) composes and arranges its own music. Under Zahia Ziouani, there will be two world premieres: “alterity 2.0” by Hindol Deb, Peter Klohmann, Alireza Meghrazi (with soloist Sahib Pashazadeh) and a tribute to Beethoven's 5th Piano Concerto by flutist Johanna-L. Dahlhoff. Violinist Ceren Türkmenoğlu plays her work “Solstice” on the rebab.

'My Policeman' simultaneously delighted and disappointed audiences at TIFF, but everyone can agree that the performances and truth of the story will convince audiences that this film is worth the watch.
"THANK YOU, Zach Creggar!" Back in 2022, this now established star in the horror film genre gave us the quirkily creepy, unexpectedly funny (at times!) cinematic gem that was "Barbarian". It felt like a cool breeze just washed over us as, for ONCE, the much traversed roads these films tend to go with got an upgrade of uniqueness without sacrificing the ambiance of uneasiness you desire.
On top of the phenomenal acting, and great dialogue between the two characters, the cinematography was ravishing! The sound was outstanding! The production design was simple, yet intrinsic. If you've watched 'Jeanne Dielman, 23 Quai du Commerce, 1080 Bruxelles', you are either someone who believes “nothing happens” in this three and half-hour film or you’re like me who believes everything happens.
“Reboot” is crass and sometimes incoherent, and has much room to improve, but with investments of time and care, could flower out of the seed of a vision.
