'The Birdcage' is a Fun Film to Watch for Pride Month

Alecia Willis is a young school teacher who gets too close to one of her students Evan, a mature high school senior falls in love with his English teacher. Evan is very persistent in his attempts to woo her. As vulnerability takes control Alecia pushes the limits on how far is too far and how close is too close? Should passion overrule the law? Or should the law stand in the way of love?
The relationship between the characters is what makes this film stand out, and it’s just all-around fun.
The thing is, people like Wahlberg will only apologize if they have something to lose, which he did. His glamorous life, his reputation, and his career were all at stake.
Only time will tell what this new Black Panther and movie will show us with all of the old and new elements of the superhero craft integrated.
Even with its straightforward premise, “Richard Jewell” is ramped up by exceptional drama. In all honesty, the performances are out of this world. As Jewell, Paul Walter Hauser becomes a walking representation of gullibility. His bumbling antics create the perfect hero, and very quickly, we feel the societal heat that surrounds our protagonists.
This remake of the Disney Channel Original Movie of the same name brings a strong representative cast.
Paul Thomas Anderson blends tragedy, comedy in 2025 epic, "One Battle After Another."
