“Sweeney Todd”: Demons and Hair Cuts
As a musical fan, I enjoyed the film and encourage anyone who likes dark humour and a bit of blood to give it a watch.

The film tells the story of Aybiçe, who was raised by wolves and seeks revenge for the evil deeds committed against her tribe. Samos wants to rid Central Asia of the Turks. He raids the Turks' feast with his best men, Panter, Alevok, and Sortis, and kills everyone except Yamtar's son Aybars and Commander Tulga. He takes Tulga captive. He raises Aybars in his own palace and later takes him under his wing with the intention of completely eradicating the Turks. However, there is one thing he overlooks: Yamtar's daughter Aybiçe is not dead. Aybiçe will be raised by wolves and will confront Tulga to take revenge for the Turks.

Is God Is tells a harrowing tale of retribution, sisterhood, and gender based violence. Far too eerie and clever to be an ordinary slasher, but too gory and merciless to be an ordinary thriller, Is God Is will appeal to the highbrow horror lover with generational trauma anywhere.
The cultural insensitivity of 'Slumberland' is discreet, and can be easily overlooked in CGI extravaganza.
A deer caught in the headlights is the perfect metaphor for Animals.
Written and directed by Eva Victor, who also plays Agnes, the main character, Sorry, Baby is slow and artsy, but extremely effective. It shows how the trauma developed after a sexual assault has a ripple effect and loudly echoes in the victim and her life for years after.
If you identify as part of the queer community, or if you love old school slasher flicks, you will love this movie.
