Juan plans to introduce his girlfriend Casilda during the weekend at the family home in the mountains. However, before arriving, Juan and his brother Santiago have to flee from a group of assassins who are chasing them by mistake. The killers belong to a criminal organization that includes Miki, who should never have been there, and Gus, a policeman infiltrated in the group who tries to take care of Miki. Meanwhile, Pinco, who should take Miki's place, enjoys the hospitality of the man in charge of the criminal organization, unaware of the problems that are coming their way.
If “Good Time” was a lean exercise in suspense, “Uncut Gems” is an ongoing panic attack. It handcuffs us to an immoral man, made up of selfishness and unreliability. At every point, Adam Sandler connects himself to this idiotic soul, unearthing the misguided opportunism that comes with gambling addiction

Like millions around the world, I've been waiting four years for the renowned #SnyderCut. I'll never forget sitting in the theater on opening night, witnessing a CGI mouth on Henry Cavill's face about five seconds into Justice League. That's a thing of nightmares if I must say. Anyways, right then and there, I knew I desperately needed Zack Snyder's film.
"Come Play" was entertaining and had some great ideas about how to scare children away from playing with facial recognition settings.
Earth and Blood is slow, but it still has it’s entertaining moments. If you’re into thrillers, or want to watch something new, then this film might be for you. As for me, Earth and Blood was tolerable enough.
Dramatic Horror!!! Wait, what?? Did you say "dramatic horror"?? IS there such a thing?? I mean, TRULY. Well, if San Francisco-based, Pakistani-born independent filmmaker Dr. Hassan Zee and this film critic have anything to say about it, there IS such a beast as experienced through the director's newest feature film set to officially debut October 4th in the City by the Bay. Folks, indie film will always be a bastion of experimentation and originality, and this film for me fits that bill.
