The Heart Behind GOAT(2026)
GOAT (2026) opens to the chanting of a crowd: "Roots run deep!" The rest of the film goes on to echo that sentiment, offering gorgeous animation and a heartfelt story along the way.

Set in a gray, barren post-apocalyptic world dominated by the black smokestacks of factories, the film tells the story of Federico, perhaps the last man on Earth, who encounters Buer, a mysterious survivor. From their meeting emerge enigmatic presences, animals that begin to repopulate the landscape, and nocturnal visions that alter the perception of reality. What develops between the two protagonists is an intimate and physical relationship that breaks every dogma, opening for Federico a path of inquiry toward answers about the end of humanity and the possibility of a new future in harmony with nature.
