In the process of solving the case, Xu Kai, the captain of serious crimes, discovers that the parents of Lu Ting, who is also a police officer, are involved in the case. However, as the unsavoury past behind the murder surfaces, Xu Kai discovers that the real culprit behind the murder is someone else.
