The film tells the story of Lidice village, levelled and–literally–eradicated by the Nazis in retaliation for the assassination of Reinhard Heydrich in Prague. However, despite the heavy death toll it paid, the Czech village was not only erased from the map but constitutes a symbol in the fight against Fascism.
Taika Waititi and the cast of Thor: Love and Thunder have been hyping up the gayness of this movie, and while there are queer characters, it's not quite the representation we were hoping for.
I highly recommend Kill Bill: Volume 2. In classic Tarantino fashion, specific sections of the film are a tad too long, but overall, it’s a wonderful piece of escapist fiction.
