No ‘Prey’ to be Found Here
A new chapter for the Predator Franchise, Prey(2022), brings an action-packed film of two hunters going against one another to prove their worth in the hunt.
A Common History
A record of the unity and continuity of black struggle in Britain. Underlines the fact that the 'new' black communities consist of workers from different countries in Asia and the Caribbean joined in the same struggles against racism in Britain since World War Two. The film focuses on discrimination in employment against black workers, looking particularly at the 1974 dispute at Imperial Typewriters in Leicester. Here black workers faced opposition not only from the bosses, but from some Trade Unions as well as fellow white workers. And the film demonstrates that the outrage of young black people (many born in Britain) as seen in the dramatic events of Summer 1981, is related to the disappointed hopes of their migrant-worker parents.

Modern Hit Songs from Film Soundtracks
Great films not only give us great stories, but also great soundtracks. Here are some of our favorite picks for soundtracks songs.
Cruella has a Heart After All
Emma Stone (Estella and Cruella) and Emma Thompson (the Baroness) did not come to play around in Cruella. They embodied the perfect balance of sinister and sincere. Estella went through a great hero's journey, and what a journey it was!
Escape The Field Fails to Escape The Crowded Field
Escape The Field is a serviceable horror thriller. The characters are easier to remember as horror character tropes. As I wrote this review, I only remembered the characters by their tropes: #FinalGirl, #Everyman, #Badass, #MeanB*/SexyGirl, #Realist/BlackLesbian, and #TheNerd.
