“Host:” Quarantine Horror for the Online Generation (Review)
Shudder’s Host (not a particularly original title, I must say) attempts to bring the spooks to “the quarantine generation” by presenting us with a scary Zoom call during lockdown.

He got caught stealing and now he's paying for it. American retailers lose $45 billion annually to theft. And for every dumb kid who thinks he's above the law, there's a loss prevention officer eager to get him. Watch Young Perps 20: Interracial Edition as these criminals sweat it out before they're given a hard choice: ruin their lives and go with the cops, or get fucked by the officer who caught them and go free. Each scene is shot on hidden cameras, capturing every stressful moment, including interrogation, pat downs, even invasive cavity searches. Coerced, humiliated, and thoroughly used, these delinquents have no choice but to bend over and take it.

This may be controversial… but 'The Marvels' is actually one of the best movies in the MCU. 10 reasons why 'The Marvels' killed it.
Growing up without a dad, I got a lot of my fatherly advice from the prototypes I saw on the silver screen. It’s these characters and films that gave me a glimpse into a dynamic I had never known but also made me realize that I was missing out. Here are my top 10 paternal films.
An aspect of She-Ra that I find refreshing is even though a large portion of the cast is on the LGBTQ+ Spectrum, being gay is never mentioned. While this might initially sound like a negative thing, in the show’s land of Etheria being on the gay spectrum is shown to be so common and normalized that straight isn’t the default. As much as there is to appreciate about narratives revolving around the obstacles that may come from being non-heteronormative, it’s nice to get immersed in a world where no one bats an eye at all to any sort of differing identity.
Pressure is an unambiguously great movie, lead by convincing performances, a well-crafted script, good direction, and at least some social awareness.
Written and directed by Eva Victor, who also plays Agnes, the main character, Sorry, Baby is slow and artsy, but extremely effective. It shows how the trauma developed after a sexual assault has a ripple effect and loudly echoes in the victim and her life for years after.
