"Mercy" is a Pro-AI Sci-Fi Thriller that Barely Makes Sense
Even without the messaging, Mercy does not hold up as a movie. It's sloppily done and the mystery doesn’t tie together at the end.

Kutay and Yusuf are two friends who work at a gas station. One evening, they decide to steal a night out on the town, but since they have no money, they take a considerable amount of cash from the gas station's cash register and head to the bars of Beyoğlu! It doesn't take long for the station owner, Ethem Bey, to notice the money missing from the cash register. Kutay and Yusuf, who are trying to find a way to replace the money, are fired when they can’t manage it. But as they leave, they take the car left at the station with them! The friends, whose paths cross with Osman Nuri and Selman, find themselves caught up in an inescapable mafia and hostage-taking/kidnapping adventure!
