The Heart Behind "GOAT"(2026)
GOAT (2026) opens to the chanting of a crowd: "Roots run deep!" The rest of the film goes on to echo that sentiment, offering gorgeous animation and a heartfelt story along the way.

The plot centers on Víctor (played by Quim Gutiérrez), who is deeply attracted to Rachel but faces a major obstacle: he doesn’t speak a single word of English. Despite his friends’ constant jokes about his lack of fluency and their attempts to impress the visitor, Víctor decides not to give up. The short film is a lighthearted romantic comedy that shows that, when there’s chemistry and a desire to connect, language takes a back seat, and the best way to understand each other is by sharing good times.

Adam McKay might have been more concerned with cramming cameos than he was in this story which is a bloated criticism of the rich and famous… delivered unto us by the rich and famous.
YouTube surpasses Netflix but there is more to the story.

Those perfect Summer or Fall days. The sun is shining, the temperature is JUST right, and you've got nothing else to do. Therefore, isn't it time to get outside and take a nice stroll through the park, or along the shoreline (should you be that fortunate), or even just around the neighborhood? Sure. BUT.....if one lives in the America found in the newest film adaptation of the work from horror author/cultural icon Stephen King.....doing this SHOULD be the LAST thing you hope to find yourself engaged with.
The major flaw of the series is that it’s hosted on Netflix and barely makes malicious comments about it despite being focused on the lives of people directly affected by the Capitalist mentality of the OTT corporation.
