William overthinks everything in his life, and now he’s going on a date. A Tinder date. But as he sits waiting for his woman, a thought hits him: “Can you really trust someone from Tinder?” — and from there, the overthinking and nightmares come rushing in.

Ultimately the problem with The Bubble is that it plays everything for laughs to get around the audience’s defenses. But it comes off like a privileged white male thinking that ridiculing everyone else equally is the road to equality. And it’s not. And it's definitely not funny to pretend that it is.
Even without the messaging, Mercy does not hold up as a movie. It's sloppily done and the mystery doesn’t tie together at the end.
