“Dangerous Lies” is as Predictable as Can be
The film may be a thriller, but I wasn’t thrilled by it. If anything, I was bored and annoyed.
Timing
Julien, an actor struggling to make ends meet, is nervously preparing for auditions. But in the final stretch before the big leap, Julien is with his brother at Ikea. Mila, also an actress, a little more established in her career, is also going to audition for the same roles. Except that today, she has no time to waste, because her kid needs her on the other side of Paris. When she arrives at the production office, she is greeted by a receptionist who couldn't care less about her and her problems.
