The daily life of a self-made cafe owner, Tamar, is interrupted when Alya, her high school friend, who she hasn't seen in ten years walks into her cafe; Tamar is ecstatic and speaks with Alya about how life has changed and offers her a special dish from the cafe. When Tamar walks out with the special dish, she sees Alya has been joined by her fiancé, a South Asian man, this takes Tamar back to where they left off. Tamar narrates how she met Alya the cafe manager and her close friend, Sam, healing some past wounds that she hid from everyone for so many years.
