Natasha, who lost her husband in an accident six months ago and became a widow at the young age of 25. She is currently staying at the home of Takashi and his wife, who run a small company with her late husband's sister Rie, but her Japanese is broken and she has Takashi cover the debt she incurred from her husband's funeral expenses, so Rie treated her like a burden. One day, Natasha saw a notice saying "Urgently hiring floor ladies, preferential treatment for widows," and decided to go for an interview to quickly pay off her debts and become independent. When Natasha visited the shop, her mother, Kanako, greeted her. From that night, Natasha was supposed to go out to the shop.
