Wayward Really Is Worth All The Hype
It’s been five months since Wayward premiered on Netflix and it still has some of us in a choke-hold.

Sarapee and Pun inherit a beach mansion from Luang Narubal, the husband and benefactor they betrayed and left to die in sorrow. The two now decide to move in and turn the mansion into a hotel in order to make some money. Twenty five years pass. Sarapee is has already died. Her two children from her marriage to Pun, Parinya and Patama, are now grown-ups and return from abroad to look after the hotel. After renovating it, the mystery begins. Deaths occur over and over again, and sometimes Parinya and Pattama witness them. It isn’t long before the only two people left to uncover the mystery and fight to stay alive. Who is this mysterious murderer?

Overall, Altered Carbon: Resleeved is pretty “meh.” It’s cool and all that it takes a different approach from the TV show to make it animated rather than live action, but it doesn’t help that the animation looks like something from a video game.
Gretel & Hansel falters due to its razor thin story and lack of characterization. It loses sight of horror’s key rule: In order to create an effective tale, characters and emotions must be emphasized.
Dead to Me Season 2 pulls together elements of comedy, drama, romance, and thriller to craft this truly gripping series.
2026 ranks highest in Oscars history for its representation of minorities in all categories, and that’s definitely something to be celebrated.
