A rich businessman organizes an elaborate robbery, using mercenaries that don't know his true identity. The police find one of the thieves, but not the mastermind. The detective in charge is joined by a beautiful but ruthless bounty huntress hired by the insurance company who will use her seductive ways to solve the case. Greta uses her unconventional methods to approach various jet-setters and after several unsuccessful attempts she identifies Terry Caldwell as the main suspect. A risky game of seduction starts between the two.

I suppose you could argue that the story wasn’t what Director James Cameron was aiming for, it was the visuals. The spectacle of it all was the point, and it certainly shows.
