The story follows Rashid, who has just lost his job and was the sole breadwinner for his family. Rashid has a wife named Maizura and two children. Jamil offers Rashid a job as an assistant at his restaurant in the city, which causes the family to live separately. The arrival of a new worker named Suharti at the restaurant changes Rashid, who used to frequently return to his village. As Rashid grows closer to Suharti, he rarely visits his family anymore. How will Maizura accept this fate filled with sorrow?
