'Xico's Journey' into the Mountains
A young girl named Copi and her pet dog Xico travel into the mountain when they hear that something's not right.

Dato’s friends learn that his lover Tamriko is getting married to another man. They decide to get Tamriko and Dato closer to each other. They ask Tamriko a nurse, to go with them in the ambulance outside the city. Tamriko learns that she is kidnapped and demands that she is brought back home. However, Tamriko gets to like the company of her "kidnappers" and stays.

At first glance, one wouldn't think John Carpenter's cult classic would be a thematic double-billing - or that Free Guy would be worthy of being mentioned in the same sentence as They Live - but the two films of vastly different genres have more similarities upon further examination.
Gretel & Hansel falters due to its razor thin story and lack of characterization. It loses sight of horror’s key rule: In order to create an effective tale, characters and emotions must be emphasized.
