Growing up is a challenge for everyone.

Vasilis Alexiou is a member of a wealthy family in Thessaloniki, and is now blind and paralyzed due to an accident that occurred while he was serving in the military in Cyprus. Desperate and disillusioned with life, he contemplates suicide, but then a new nurse arrives and cares for him with exceptional tenderness. She quickly gains his trust, offers him peace of mind, and finally convinces him to undergo a series of painful surgical procedures. Vasilis gradually recovers, but the nurse suddenly disappears, just before he regains his sight. The recovered man then discovers that the nurse was Christina Diamanti, his former lover, who had left him due to a misunderstanding.

At its heart, it’s a fond tribute to an influential artist and thus one that can speak to everyone’s inner artist, even if it lacks the sincere commentary you may wish to see.
