Unable to escape anxiety and despair, the wife becomes pathologically obsessed with the suspicion that her husband will leave her, and the husband cannot endure such a wife any longer. The couple is immersed together in a swamp from which they cannot escape.
So with the recent (rightful) public apologies to Britney from comedians and media for trashing her image in the 2000s, perhaps some people should also give Crossroads the fair chance it deserves. It won't be everyone's cup of tea, and that is fine. Personally, I will take my girl Britney and her movie, over the next testosterone "Dude Flick" any day.
This is not a film, it’s a drop tower. A drop tower that you don’t get off of for the vast majority of its 106-minute runtime.
