Sing 2 (2021)

The sequel to the previous film in this film's franchise is finally here. Like in the previous film, this movie contains well-known popular music songs that the animal characters sing for the majority of the movie, as the film focuses on the animal characters making successful careers in Redshore City. Redshore City is the entertainment capital of the world. Buster, the koala who owns the New Moon Theater, faces the challenge of making it into Redshore City. Since Buster is the owner of the New Moon Theater, viewers see and learn about how hard it is for a stage manager to do his job directing his cast and crew members. He has to book a tour bus to carry all of his cast members and schedule lunch breaks in between rehearsals, as well as be ahead of the game. After all, the show must go on, right? The road trip scene references a lot of realistic fiction elements, as the setting of Sing 2 takes place in an animated version of our world with animal characters. Some of these elements include other cars on the highway at night with green exit signs. The tour bus symbolizes celebrities traveling from place to place in our world, rehearsing their roles for their upcoming performances. The landscape of Redshore City is based on the city of Las Vegas, Nevada, as evidenced by the welcome sign, the palm trees, and the luxurious hotels on every block. The entertainment business in Redshore City symbolizes the entertainment business in many popular cities in the United States and the rest of the world. Crystal Entertainment is one of the entertainment companies that is a parody of Hollywood and Broadway. Some people make it into show business, while others are denied the opportunity. Overall, Sing 2 has many elements from the first movie. The most recognizable element viewers find comedic is animal characters singing pre-recorded songs.
