FIVE MEN - FIVE SHATTERED LIVES: JIMMY struggles with his girlfriend, Dina, when she runs away, half naked, in the middle of night, accusing him of molesting her. DENNIS, desperate and unhappy in his marriage, has an ill-timed affair with his daughter's 17 year old babysitter. JORDAN splits from his partner, Steve, only to discover he may not be the biological father of their daughter. HARRY, angered over his estranged relationship with his father and his ex-wife, loses it and abuses his girlfriend sadistically. BEN, after losing custody of his son because he viciously attacked his ex-wife's boyfriend in front of him, takes the law into his own hands and kidnaps his son. All five stories intersect as each man tries to salvage what is left of his life.
At least we got the original cast back, right? Not even that saves it. None of them could bring a sliver of hope to this special. Rather, they bring dread as we witness the light leaving from their eyes.
The sequel to the 2010 live-action movie focuses on sibling rivalry.
The film is a documentary focusing on heavy metal in the late 80s and tackles topics like drug addiction, alcoholism, sex, masculinity, and of course, rock and roll. However, this didn’t feel like any documentary I’ve ever seen before.
Hoppers is a fun ride with a deep message underneath. In true Pixar fashion, Hoppers explores the complexity of emotions and learning to be still in a world that demands fast progress. Through the main character Mabel, we are reminded what it is like to let ourselves feel big emotions. But also how not to be controlled by them.
Endgame not only did not drop the ball, but it delivered for fans so much that it went on to become the highest-grossing movie of all time!
